Recently, Something called 37.com and MegaSpider have been displacing my "dellnet" Page. They are uninvited and an invasion of my privacy. I can find no avenue to voice my complaint to. I want to unsubscribe from there services. Often they interrupt me, or crash my computer. How do I get rid of the obnoxious Jerks? -Jack
Okay, so what is it with guys and their timing?!I found the PERFECT guy for me but didn't realize it until it was too late. Now he "doesn't have those feelings for me anymore" and I can't believe I let him get away so easily. Why can't we just be like we were. I understand where he's coming from because in the beginning we were just friends and then he started liking me. But I was too busy lusting over someone else to notice. Then one night he kissed me and my knees went weak. I started falling in love with him. Until one night I was at a party and was a little bit too much under the influence and went back after my lust object. Now Danny's mad at me for lying to him and saying "Nothing Happened" when it did and my heart is torn to pieces. I know it's my fault, but I wish he would give me the chance to show him how I really feel.--Stef

I have never had a boyfriend. I'm beginning to believe I repel guys. Plenty of them have said they liked me, but obviously they only wanted to make me feel better, because none have ever thought of acting on their "feelings" for me. If that wasn't bad enough, I'm cursed with being to shy to just go up to someone and tell him how I feel, so when I like someone, chances are he's never gonna find out! The new school rules are really hard on us. They are so different and they are hard to get used to. When you drive into our school we see a little golf cart that has a security guard in it. It is just hard to have such a drastic change. They didn't even think about how this would effect us students that attend. -k

What's with the deep tint on so many vehicles? For one thing most of the stuff that's on cars today is not legal. If you can't see through it during the day, how the heck can you see at night. The local paper just had an article about a car that ran over and killed a lady. The accident happened at night. The guy had his windows so dark that he just didn't see her. Now he's doing some hard time. Good rule, if I can't see you, how are you supposed to see me? I like to make eye contact with the other driver, especially if they or I are making a turn. I need to know you know I'm there. Think about this, there's crime committed somewhere and your car fits the description, but because they couldn't see the drivers face they yank you in and arrest you for the crime! It could and has happened. So unless you have some affliction that causes a serious rash when you come in contact with the sun, cut back on the tint so we can see your smiling faces. Thanks -Foubar
People who find it necessary to use their cell phone while driving, shaving, eating, reading and the best, trying to connect to the internet with one of those new palm computers. Cell phone in one hand, palm computer in the other steering with their knee. Please, your lives aren't that important that you can't wait until your stopped safely to make that connection. I have a gripe. Why am I a magnet to freaks of nature? I started out in a relationship with a woman because she was cute and nice to me. Later on in the relationship everything turned messed up. I am admittedly a kind person who sees over small flaws. Hoping they will work themselves out. Well this spawn of satan changed that for me. Within the three months I went out with her she cheated on me with 4 guys and 3 girls. And if that wasn't enough, one of the girls was my sister and one of the boys my best friend. Now to add another "Springer" effect to this gripe. She deliberately tried to set up a threesome between me and a guy who had a crush on me. There are no sane women out there. -great

OK, I am a cheerleader, and my boyfriend is a jock, and I have read a lot of gripes on here saying that we are full of ourselves, or jocks get all of the attention- and that is bull crap. We are treated like everyone else- the only difference is, everyone wants to be like us, so they complain about us like all of you. You're in the left hand lane, passing a car, when up behind you flashing brights to let you know to MOVE comes a hell-bent for leather madman (or woman, whatever)!!! You move into the right lane, they pass you, get in front of you and SLOW DOWN!! You wind up having to pass them, in which case they usually speed back up and won't let you in. My gripe is aimed at me for letting myself fall so deeply in love with someone I can never have. To fall in love with my best friend knowing that I could never, ever have him but just needed to feel everything that loving him brings. I know that I can't have him and I'm so angry at myself for letting these feelings in. I hate when you're filling out forms and the state is a drop down menu. I tab to that spot, hit N (for New York) and Nebraska pops up. Then I have to grab my mouse and click the drop down, selecting NY. For most of us "skilled" typists, this is very annoying. Olomus/NY

Basically, my griping / shrewish bitching can be boiled down to just this: high school is a depressing lie. You go to high school, go through hell, and finally adapt yourself to it, being told that it's actually a lot like life, then you get to college...whoa...totally different story! There are no cliques in college, and the nerds are revered. People care about you being a good person, instead of wearing all of the right clothes. Really, college is like this amazing little society of people who actually may genuinely care about people--I love it to death and wish it would last forever!!! But, like, why didn't someone tell me this would be the case before I tragically trudged through 4 long years of high school and 3 of junior high, expecting still more? I mean, I was led to think that high school was life. BTW- For any discouraged high schoolers our there: High school *isn't* like life much at all...things get much, much better...high school is just a test to see ! if you're strong enough to make it Out There. ok so here it is....I've been with him for two years. We are "in love" What the hell is that supposed to mean anyway...I know that I would do anything for him. He tells me he wants me to be his wife, that he wants to marry me. Great i say, when.....he thinks maybe five years. Holidays are coming around. He's Jewish I am Christian. The problem isn't me being accepted by his family, they love me. The problem is him accepting my family. So its great that I maintain and wait, and I continue to give and give and give, when he cant go and carve a stupid turkey with my family, because my step-father USED to be mean to me. I am a senior in college. I have worked hard for four years at school while doing crap jobs. Before going back to school I was a waitress for years. I swore I couldn't take waitressing anymore so I just got a job with, um, lets just say a national phone co. answering phones for their repair department. I go to work at 6am and I am at school or doing homework (i.e. papers) the rest of the time. From the moment I get on the phone people are rude to me. You might say 'just quit then' but I have to keep the job at least till the end of the semester. People expect me to know what is wrong from looking at a computer screen. I sympathize and empathize in most or some cases, but sometimes the abuse is just unnecessary. Waitressing was bad enough, but I have people at this job calling me stupid and demanding to know what is wrong right away. Sometimes I go to the bathroom and cry. It is just too hard to take. This woman the other day started attacking me personally, she asked what I would do if my phone went out. Sometimes I don't have food to eat and my phone *has* been turned off. I've been without a car for years. People are just insensitive bastards and I'm to the point I hate to even look at people. I've been single and alone for years after an abusive relationship. People say things that are evil and they don't even know you. I can never talk back because I'm supposed to be professional. A man today said, "figure it out you moron, it's not that difficult, I have a problem, you are repairer, you fix it!" I can not survive without this job for now, but I just want people to know that just because you're talking to a Company, it is still a person. -shart
O. K. Here it is. Just wish people would be more honest with each other. Wonder why is it sometimes so difficult for a man and woman to be "just friends"? Although a relationship is (supposedly) understood by both parties to be platonic, if the guy winds up hitting on the girl the friendship is doomed. If either one lies about their romantic interest in the other party the friendship is a lie. Better to be honest in the first place. -anonymous
We've lived in our house for 5 years now and everyone of those years we've had to put up with the little brat that lives up the hill. He is constantly beating up on the other kids in the neighborhood, trying to get my son in trouble and is always in trouble at school. I've tried to talk to the parents, but they say that everyone always blames their son and that he's always picked on. Just recently we had a situation where I had to call the police and get them involved. Unfortunately, they couldn't do anything because the boys are only 9 years old. What makes me so mad is that nobody can do anything because they are so young, until one of them is laying in the street bleeding. The parents refuse to see that their son is a little tyrant!! Not that my son is an angel, by any means, but he takes responsibility for his actions. I've also gone through the local mediation and nothing.... I am so fed up with my husband I could just scream. We've been married almost 7 years, but we've been together for over 12 years. We have 2 children and live in a nice neighborhood. My gripe is... I'm tired of being a single parent. When he comes home from work, we eat dinner and then he falls asleep on the couch. No talking, no nothing. I do all the housework, I bathe the kids, I do all the laundry and make sure that all the kid's homework is completed. When I bring this to his attention he tells me that he's going to change and that he'll make things better. That always works for about 2 weeks and then it's back to the same old thing. I'm tired of him telling me that I'm too sensitive and that it's all in my head, even friends and family see what's going on.... I'm tired, I'm stressed and I want to get away..... I hate my school because it is some old ladies knitting club, the gossip just gets around and around and screws you over. Its like 600 kids in the whole school. Over fall break I messed around with a girl friend of mine like ONCE and I come back and EVERYONE even people I have never spoken to are talking about me and spreading all kinds of crap. My gripe for the past four years is about a family friend. I've been telling my friends that we've had this 'relationship' going since I was 12. I felt like I had to lie to actually have them talk to me or even pay attention to me. Don't get me wrong, my friends are great! Just once I started to tell them about 'us' it kept going and going. And it's starting to get all screwed up. My family friend, my first love but he doesn't know it. The closest I've even gotten to talk to him was at a wedding reception. But now that he's in college, I can't see him like I use to every month. I still love him like the first day we played Monopoly. He just doesn't know it and I know he thinks I'm just a little high schooler that is stupid and idiotic like the rest. Then I have my friends. My friends think I've had this BIG traumatic break up with him and got back together, broke up, got back together, broke up, got back together, and then we FINALLY BROKE UP! I hate lying to my friends! I hate having to deceive someone that I've loved forever. -sun

A Dr at the Ut Geology Dept intentionally misidentified Stony Meteorite samples we had brought to him to identify. He initially made many mistakes and then began to weave a web of lies to cover it up. We had the samples tested at a local Lab and they alerted us to what was happening at the UT Geology Dept. -bccmtrites

Maybe you can't help falling in love with someone, but you can sure control how you deal with it. What about your needs? The school system I graduated from was administrated by a bunch of pompous, nasty people who favored sporty kids and the children of certain people over everyone else. Now that I'm an adult, I not only work with the same people that were there when I was a kid, but I'm still wondering why they ever got into education as a career (aside from the fact that they can have others to boss around, including subordinate teachers who actually do care). -stymied professional outside of the school system
Why do schools favor the sporto-kids? I'm 28 and professional and I think it's heinously unfair. I don't even get what makes sportos so special. It also seems like the teachers and administrators who do this have failed to pass beyond their "glory days." Come on, people. -dtalkusa

My gripe is a little different from most other peoples. I don't have a problem with the teachers at my school, or the jocks, or the 'popular' kids (although I'm not part of the highly recognizable IN group. I mainly have a problem with people who looks at a group, or another person, and hates them just because they aren't a part of the group. Just because a person doesn't go out of their way to speak to you doesn't mean that they think you are a stupid lowlife. It generally just means that they don't know you. Quit worrying so much about what other people are thinking, saying, doing, etc. and start LEARNING. The only reason you are truly there is to get an education. You know, to better YOUR life. To open up job opportunities for YOU. Those teachers that you hate are just trying to help you earn a better life for yourself and pay their rent at the same time. And those jocks? My experience is that they only focus their dislike on people that don't like them. Couldn't the case be that they don't notice you, so you get mad because you aren't the center of everybody's universe? And the popular people: oh yes, the popular people. You ever wonder why they were called the popular people? Because they are POPULAR. (Definition of popular: a lot people like them.) Could it be that you are secretly jealous of them? My piece of advice after this long rant is simply to be nice to each other, keep your hand to yourself, if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all, and above all, GET OVER IT. -roller

Ok. I am a 21 year old college senior. I guess that i really don't have a gripe to share, just some advice. To all of those in high school who are griping about jocks, teachers, preppy kids, or whoever, listen closely. High school only lasts four years (for most of us). Once you graduate, anything that happened there doesn't matter. I was a jock in high school, but i worked hard. All athletes are not stupid, contrary to what you all might think. The kids who take the easy way out or get handed favors will never succeed in life. Believe me, i know a few like that. High school is supposed to be the best time of your life. Kick back, and enjoy it while you can. If someone thinks that because he's popular he can do what he wants, just wait about 5 years until he's still all about popularity, and no college woman will come anywhere near him. Teachers have one of the hardest jobs on earth. They have to try to teach a bunch of kids, half of who don't want to be there, and the other half who thinks that they know more than them. Your teachers are some of the wisest people you will ever meet. Cherish and respect them. Even if they are younger than you. So, all in all, high school is 4 short years that everyone wants to forget as you grow older. Don't let someone bother you just because you had to work hard to get the same things they did. I'm a 19 year old sophomore in college and there's this old lady in my Am. Lit class. First of all it's an honors class which I only take to get my scholarship money, but she takes it for fun. Second of all, it's writing intensive (i.e. at least 6000 words the semester) and she's taking it FOR FUN! And then, in order to make herself look smart, she just repeats what the teacher says, or she says "I was just going to say that!" Sure. And she gives her opinion all the time, like anybody cares. And when someone else is trying to make a point, she interrupts although she's already had her turn. And it's not just me because other people in the class have complained about her, and the teacher keeps trying to ignore her. One day, when she'd been talking for about 30 minutes, the teacher moved on so the old lady tried to say something else, but the teacher ignored her. So she jumped out of her seat and started waving her arms! She needs to get a clue that no one wants to hear her talk! -zoey
Where to start!?! I work in a retail department store. The TOY department. I hate when all these little old women want me to call them when something comes in. If I called everyone who wanted me to, I would spend every minute of every day on the phone. So instead they call me every day asking when the Furbys are coming in!! I DON'T KNOW!!! Why do people ask you when something is coming in??? I don't know of ANYONE in retail who knows when all their stuff will be there!! To top off the work gripes, I am an Asst. Manager and doing my bosses work! He gets $10 and I get $6.40!!! No wonder everyone quits! You can't live on $6.40 an hour!! And... -CUSTOMERS ARE EVIL!!!!

I hate AOL. It is way too slow!! The firewall they keep you behind sucks!! If they want to be better then they need to figure out how the hell to speed things up a bit. Furthermore, the firewall has got to go. Really what is the point? If they think by keeping their customers behind a firewall will make them unable to view other carriers they are really stupid. It does not take a really computer smart person to figure out really quick that they are limited because of having AOL....BECK
We have lived in our unit for 6 years. We have kept it tidy, clean and in good condition. When we moved it it was about 6 months old. The back lawn was a bare bit of dirt with clumps of weeds. We made gardens, cultivated the lawn and built a patio with paving. Over a period of 6 years we have paid $39,690-00(Australian) in rent (representing $135-00 per week). Recently the landlord said he would have the unit painted. When the painter arrived he was given instructions to paint only the walls of the kitchen and living room. Not the ceilings, doors, architraves or skirting boards. It would have cost him $300-00 extra to have the entire unit painted throughout. We have several reasons for not buying our own home but now I think it is time we thought seriously about looking for one. -kt-
